Need to send some of your crypto to someone else or to a second wallet you own? Here we present a step-by-step description of the process so you can do so with confidence.

Firstly, navigate to your coins in Zelus Wallet and select from the list the cryptocurrency you want to send. After tapping on it you will see additional information about that specific coin as well as all related actions you may choose to take: select ‘Send’.

Next you will be asked to indicate the blockchain address to which you want to send crypto to. Blockchain addresses are 26-35 alphanumeric characters in length, thus hard to remember or be input manually, so most wallets offer quick ways to copy and/or share digitally. You may choose to copy-paste the address into the input field or tap the icon to scan a QR code. If it isn’t the first time you send crypto to that particular address you may also select it from the list under ‘Recently used addresses’.

Please note that the recipient address needs to be compatible with the cryptocurrency you are sending! For example, you can’t send Bitcoin to an Ethereum address (well, you can, but it would be lost forever). To reduce risks, Zelus Wallet checks whether the receiver's address is suitable for that cryptocurrency and prevents you from making a mistake.

After the address, you will enter the amount of crypto you wish to send. Use the icon with the arrows to switch the currency you input the amount in: crypto or ‘fiat’(e.g. US Dollars). You may also select ‘Max’ to send the total amount you have of that particular cryptocurrency.

Before submitting your transaction request, you will be able to see a ‘Preview’, a summary of the transaction details, including the gas fee involved*. Once you have reviewed the details, tap on ‘Send now’ to execute the transaction.
